Etihad Crystal Cargo, the cargo division of Etihad Airways, the national airline of the United Arab Emirates, will be a major exhibitor at the prestigious Air Cargo Forum next month in Calgary, Canada, between 12 and 14 September.
The bi-annual show, organised by TIACA (The International Air Cargo Association), is the leading event in the air cargo industry, attracting thousands of visitors from across the industry including those representing international airports, airlines, freighter forwarders, and authorities.
The forum carries a great deal of significance for Crystal Cargo, because it was at the 2004 event where the brand was officially launched and introduced to the industry.
“Etihad Crystal Cargo has grown considerably since its unveiling at the event two years ago. We are all very excited to be demonstrating the services we now provide, and destinations we operate to during this prestigious event. The Etihad network of cargo and Guest destinations stands at more than 40, and the airline operates 22 wide-bodied, modern aircraft,” said Ingo Roessler, vice president Etihad Crystal Cargo.
At the coming event, Etihad Crystal Cargo will be represented with an impressive 90 metres-square stand, which will demonstrate the growth and expansion of Etihad Airways and the planned expansion at Abu Dhabi International Airport.
Etihad Crystal Cargo will also co-sponsor one of the biggest social events during the Air Cargo Forum, the Rodeo event which takes place on the 14 September.
“The Rodeo will be a major highlight of the forum. It is a great opportunity to relax and celebrate our first two successful years in operation. We look forward to putting on our cowboy hats and cheering on the Crystal Cargo team,” added Roessler.
The show will be staffed by several senior representatives from Etihad Crystal Cargo, Etihad Crystal Cargo’s GSSA in Canada and the US, Platinum Air Cargo, as well as Etihad Airways’ office in Canada.
