ESPRIMO Mobile Series reinforces Fujitsu Siemens Computers’ position in the Professional notebook segment
New ESPRIMO Mobile with Integrated UMTS and high-value equipment targets entry and mid-range professionals
The ESPRIMO Mobile Series – the latest notebooks by Fujitsu Siemens Computers will reinforce the company’s position in the professional notebook segment, this according to research firm IDC*. The ESPRIMO Mobile Series launched at Gitex, will cater to the entry and mid-range professionals.
The notebooks will be available in three models; each equipped with advanced configurations and support the same accessories like port replicator, and a second battery. The second battery ensures that the ESPRIMO Mobile professional notebooks run a maximum of 10 hours without external power – a fact that underlines the company’s’ efforts to reduce energy consumption.
Fujitsu Siemens Computers has witnessed unprecedented growth in its regional notebook sales in the first quarter of 2007. The company was ranked among the region’s top five notebook vendors by IDC EMEA and experienced a year-on-year growth of more than 65 per cent.

The company has combined aesthetics with functionality and performance to tailor-make the ESPRIMO Mobile for professionals. Weighing approximately 1.8 kilos, and sporting a 12.1 inch display, the ESPRIMO Mobile U9200 is the ultimate portable machine. The ESPRIMO Mobile M9400 also makes a perfect travel companion. It comes equipped with a 14.1 inch display and weighs just 2.1 kilos. The ultimate desktop replacement, the D9500 has a 15.4 inch display and weighs 2.5 kilos. All three ESPRIMO Mobile notebooks are a perfect supplement to the company’s recently launched ultra-portable LIFEBOOK Series.
