ERWDA budget for 2002 approved

The Board of Directors of Environmental Research and Wildlife Development Agency (ERWDA) has approved the budget of the agency for 2002. 

 

The approval came during the fifth meeting of the board, chaired by Shaikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Deputy Chairman of ERWDA.  

 

Shaikh Mohammed bin Butti Al Hamed, the Ruler's Representative for the Western Region and Chairman of Abu Dhabi Municipality and Town Planning; Hamad Abdul Rahman Al Midfa, Minister of Health; Mohammed Al Bowardi, ERWDA's Board Member & Managing Director; Ahmed Al Sayegh, Board Member; and Majid Al Mansouri, the agency's acting secretary-general attended the meeting. 

 

The meeting discussed reports on ERWDA's activities and projects throughout the year 2001, which focused on progress made in the five-year environmental strategy plan for the Emirate of Abu Dhabi (2000-2004), according to Khaleej Times

 

Amongst the other activities reviewed by the board was the first quarterly report of the Fish Resources Assessment Project. (Albawaba.com)
