Epson has launched its latest EPL-N2550 A3 monochrome laser printer in the Middle East, offering its corporate customers a device that combines quality, reliability, compactness, efficiency and speed with ease of use.

A workgroup printer, the Epson EPL-2550 offers fast printing speeds of up to 30ppm and features Quick Fusing Technology to produce a first page out of just 8.2 seconds from ready mode and a first page out of 12 seconds from sleep mode.  This means that users spend less time waiting for prints and have more time for your business.

Khalil El-Dalu, General Manager, Epson Middle East said: “Epson’s EPL-2550 laser printer is the perfect device for those seeking a reliable, easy-to-use and cost effective printing solution. Its large paper capacity and high-yield toner cartridges make this efficient printer ideal for the region’s fast-paced corporate customers.”

For convenience, the EPL-N2550 printer driver is set to use A4 size as standard and the A3 paper trays can be simply extended when needed.  This innovative design enables Epson to offer a comparable footprint to an A4 laser printer.   By combining the compact design with a low noise rating of 33db at standby the EPL-2550 can be used as a desktop printer.

Designed for ease of use and minimum maintenance, the EPL-N2550 offers a high paper capacity up to 1,500 sheets and toner yield up to 15,000 pages or 17,000 standard pages in accordance with the new industry standard, ISO/IEC 19752. As a result of less manual intervention users can print more high-volume documents uninterrupted.

The EPL-N2550 features USB, Parallel and Ethernet interfaces as well as ESC/Page, PCL and PostScript emulations to ensure its seamless integration within existing corporate IT infrastructure. It can handle numerous jobs quickly and effectively with 64MB of memory and a 200MHz processor.

For corporate customers who require secure printing, cluster printing, document management, tracking tools or barcode and symbol support, the EPL-N2550 is fully compatible with the Epson printing solutions range.

“With the introduction of the EPL-N2550, Epson offers a complete line-up of both monochrome and colour laser printers for the office. It meets the demanding needs of the corporate workgroup and reflects our commitment to bring innovative products that meet regional consumers’ evolving business needs,” El-Dalu concluded.
