Epson has launched its new Perfection V10 scanner, offering the Middle East’s home users and first-time scanner buyers, a compact, feature-packed A4 scanner that allows users to digitise their photos and film at home and provides high-quality output for all their scanning needs.
The entry-level Epson Perfection V10 features a high optical resolution of 3200dpi. Four buttons on the front panel provide instant access to the most commonly used scanning functions: start, scan to email, copy and scan to PDF. It scans documents and photos up to A4. The model incorporates premium quality scanning that is typically associated with Epson’s unique Matrix CCD technology into a new slim design while its modern silver finish gives it a stylish look.

The model is one of Epson’s new range of A4 scanners and offers an innovative portrait and landscape scanning option, allowing users to choose the way in which they prefer to use the scanner and make the most of the space on their desktop. A new hinge design allows the lid to be opened fully to a 90-degree angle or 180-degree angle while scanning books and thicker objects. Documents of up to 25mm thick can be scanned with the lid closed.
The scanner comes with Easy Photo Fix software that allows users to improve images before and after scanning, with the dust removal functionality. It also includes a new back light correction feature that automatically enhances and corrects the brightness, sharpness, colour saturation and colour balance of the image.
The Perfection V10 scanner is Mac and PC compatible and is bundled with software including Epson Scan, Epson Creativity Suite, ArcSoft PhotoImpression 5, ABBYY FineReader Sprint 6 and ABBYY FineReader Sprint 5 for Mac.
