Epson launches AcuLaser M2000 high-performance monochrome laser printer series
New printer line provides low-cost, high-speed monochrome business printing solution
Epson has announced the Middle East launch of its new AcuLaser M2000 series of high-performance monochrome laser printers designed specifically to meet the unique needs of the contemporary office environment. The new compact, quiet, and affordable printer line supports large batch printing while retaining high production quality.
The M2000 series features a print speed of 28 pages per minute at 1,200 dpi and is capable of producing the first printed page within six seconds. It uses genuine Adobe PostScript and PCL6 printer languages to attain greater accuracy and produce lesser errors during post-script printing. The two primary models of the series, the M2000D and the M2000N, support duplex printing at 14ppm, which is highly popular among environmentally-responsible businesses who want to reduce paper consumption without compromising printing efficiency.
The network-enabled M2000DN and M2000D models both support high-capacity, high-speed printing, unlike the majority of economy monochrome printers currently available in the market. They include a 300-megahertz processor and high memory to ensure rapid and efficient document processing. Buyers have the option to purchase the two models with additional paper cassettes for increased maximum paper capacities from the standard of 300 to 800 sheets, which lessens maintenance requirements during large print productions.
“The solid functionality and economy offered by the new AcuLaser M2000D and M2000DN is made possible through unique Epson-engineered technological innovations, including ASIC technology to process documents at high speeds. It is this attention to technology and affordability that has made Epson a trusted and sought-after brand in the Middle East. Small-to-medium-sized businesses in the region will definitely appreciate the high quality and reduced costs provided by these new products,” said Khalil El Dalu, General Manager, Epson Middle East.
