The EMP-83 and EMP-822 offer high resolution for sharp presentations, network functionality and anti-theft features
Epson has announced the Middle East launch of two new versatile business projectors – the EMP-822 and EMP-83. The EMP-822 features 2600 ANSI lumens of brightness, while the EMP-83 features 2200 ANSI lumens. Both models deliver clear, bright and defined images in all conditions thanks to a high XGA resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels and Epson’s 3LCD and E-TORL technologies. The projectors incorporate improved security features including a metal security bar to secure the projectors to the ceiling. Password protection and Kensington Lock connectivity are also provided to ensure peace of mind in high traffic environments. With a distinctive new rugged two-tone design, the EMP-83 and EMP-822 are ideally suited for the meeting room.
With low power consumption, increased lamp life and a lens cover timer, the EMP-83 and EMP-822 have been designed for high performance and energy efficiency. Set up and cool down time is no longer a problem thanks to Epson’s Quick Start and Instant Off features. Functionality is further enhanced with the Easy-Use remote control, which features three ‘zones’ to help the user progress through each stage of the process: preparation, setting and presentation.
Epson has also incorporated a number of unique features to ensure the EMP-83 and EMP-822 are perfectly suited for ceiling mounting. Epson’s Easy MP network monitoring technology gives advance notice of any potential maintenance required, eliminating the expense, inconvenience and time spent solving any problems after they occur. The system can be accessed via a remote networked computer.
A web browser in the projector generates email alerts and provides essential information including the temperature status or when air filters or projector lamps need to be changed. If any changes are required, they are easy and quick to perform. The new ‘easy grab’ filter and lamp can be replaced by simply accessing their covers on the side and top of the projector respectively.
Bright, natural images and smooth, sharp video playback are achieved thanks to Epson’s 3LCD technology. The new E-TORL lamp has also been improved to effectively reduce light leakage and minimise light diffraction, premium quality projected images are easily achieved in a wide range of lighting environments.
The EMP-83 and EMP-822 are highly versatile projectors, supporting a wide range of sources and inputs. With the addition of RJ45 and RS232C connectivity, it’s even easier to integrate the projectors with your existing network. A built-in 7W speaker also enables audio presentations to be enjoyed via a video or PC connection.
