The Epson stand at Gitex Dubai 2005 is attracting visitors in huge numbers especially with the range of technologically advanced projectors that are on display. Epson’s range of projectors includes the EMP-TWD1, EMP-TW20 and EMP-TW600.

The EMP-TWD1 brings together the renowned projector experience of Epson with the superior audio and DVD capabilities of JVC to create a home entertainment solution for movies, games, sports and music. The Epson EMP-TWD1 is an Epson projector combined with DVD player and speakers from JVC, in a stylish, compact solution.

The Epson EMP-TWD1 has been designed to be easy-to-use and to ensure that users achieve high quality results quickly. The Auto Detect feature means that the EMP-TWD1 will automatically recognise the disk that is being used. When a DVD is inserted, the movie will be projected onto the screen, and likewise when a CD is inserted, music will play.  The EMP-TWD1 can also be used to view digital photos on the big screen.

The innovative Epson Cinema Filter in the EMP-TWD1 ensures users can benefit from a high quality image whatever the ambiance of the room. For example, users can enjoy a bright image in a light room and optimum contrast in a dark room. The projector is also easy to set-up and store at home. It can be placed on anything from a coffee table to a stool. The lens will shift both up, down, left and right, helping users to move their screen to the perfect position.  When not in use, it can be simply packed up and neatly stored away.

Epson EMP-TW20 is a new entry-level projector designed especially for the home.  Featuring a true 16:9 aspect ratio, users can watch their favourite movies, play games console and enjoy all the latest sporting action on the big screen. Offering 1200 ANSI lumens, the EMP-TW20 is the brightest home cinema projector in its category and ensures users can enjoy the big screen in a wide range of lighting conditions. A high contrast ratio of 1000:1 means that image quality is bright, clear and vibrant.

The EMP-TW20 will project a 60” screen from just 1.5 metres. The lens will shift both up, down, left and right, helping users to find the perfect position for their image. The projector also has the Cinema Filter feature in addition to the Progressive Conversion Technology that will eliminate any ‘flickering’ that may occur when viewing subtitles or wide screen frames.

The Epson EMP-TW600 is a premium home cinema projector that features a W-XGA resolution (1280 x 750 pixels) and HDMI input ensuring that it is able to truthfully display High Definition content.  Image quality (contrast ratio of 5000:1 and brightness of 1600 ANSI lumens) is one of the best in its class, thanks to the pioneering projector technologies developed exclusively by Epson. The EMP-TW600 is also elegantly designed with a fresh, sleek finish ensuring it adds style and quality to your home.

There are seven colour modes with the EMP-TW600, ensuring users can select the mode that best suits their needs.  For example, users can choose Dynamic mode for light rooms or Theatre Black for a darker environment.
