The Epson stand at Gitex Dubai 2005, being held at the Dubai World Trade Centre from September 25 to 29, is attracting a large number of visitors, as it is showcasing a wide range of Epson products including its all-in-one devices.
Epson’s all-in-one devices on display at Gitex Dubai 2005 include the Stylus Photo RX620, Stylus Photo RX 700, Stylus CX 3700, Stylus CX 4700, Stylus CX 4100, AcuLaser CX11NF and AcuLaser CX11N.
The Epson Stylus Photo RX620 has an array of features to meet the demands of photo enthusiasts who need to scan, print and store new and old images, making it a versatile and easy to use all-in-one photo printer. Placing the emphasis on high resolution printing and scanning, the Stylus Photo RX620 all-in-one offers a complete no-compromise solution for home photo users working from both digital and analogue photo sources.
The Stylus Photo RX620 makes it easy to retrieve photos from all photo archives. Using the 2400X4800 dpi MatrixCCD scanner, the user can produce high-quality copies of photos, whilst the unique direct print function quickly produces photos directly from old negative film sources.
The Epson Stylus Photo RX700 is an advanced, feature packed all-in-one device for serious photo enthusiasts. Clearer, sharper images are achieved through a minimum ink droplet size of only 1.5pl. Images can be previewed on Epson’s unique Photo Fine preview display and scanned on the 3200dpi scanner which also includes transparency and film scanning features. It will print directly onto printable CD’s and DVD’s and images can be archived to or printed from a compatible external CD-R or Zip drive.
The Stylus Photo RX700 has a PhotoEnhance feature, which is an automatic scene detection engine that will enhance areas of the photograph automatically removing the need for manual retouching. The RX700 also allows users to scan and manipulate images at a resolution unsurpassed by most other all-in-one devices.
The Epson Stylus CX3700 Series and CX4700 Series all-in-one devices are meant for the home or small office segment. These multi-function devices offer laser-like print quality and highly durable prints alongside scanning and copying capabilities for high-resolution copies and enlargements. Four individual ink cartridges ensure both models are designed with efficiency in mind.
The Stylus CX4700 Series is ideal for a busy home office or where higher volumes of general purpose printing are required. Memory card slots and PictBridge compatibility have also been added for the benefit of the digital camera user. The Stylus CX3700 Series is a cost effective all-in-one solution for the home user with lower volume printing requirements. The Epson Stylus CX4100 is the all-in-one home solution to all printing, copying and scanning needs. The versatile Epson Stylus CX4100 achieves high standards of
performance and allows users to print clearer and have BorderFree copies with the use of the BorderFree technology.
Using Epson's R.P.M (Photo Resolution Performance Management), the Epson Stylus CX4100 achieves a print resolution of 5760 optimised dpi through a combination of variable ink droplet size and highly accurate ink droplet placement, making extraordinary details and image clarity the trademark of the printer. With a hardware resolution of 600x1200 dpi, the CX3100 produces high quality images with accurate colour reproduction every time. The Epson TWAIN driver can also correct skewed images in Full Auto Mode.
The Epson AcuLaser CX11NF and AcuLaser CX11N are two new high quality MFPs for the business market. These two new models are amongst the first colour MFPs on the market, and provide a set of features to make them the ideal MFP series for small offices and workgroups.
Both new models offer multiple copy and printing speeds of 25ppm in mono, and 5ppm in colour. Furthermore, a first page out of only 9 seconds in mono, and 17 seconds in colour, makes them as fast as other more expensive laser printers and copiers on the market.
In addition to high quality prints, copies and colour scanning, the AcuLaser CX11NF provides users with full fax functionality, thereby offering a high degree of flexibility in a small footprint.
