The Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Development, H.E. Eng. Dr. Ahmed El Maghraby will give the keynote luncheon address at the fourth Euromoney Housing and Real Estate Finance Conference at the Fairmont Towers Heliopolis on 15 June 2010.
H.E. Dr. Maghraby will join the Minister of Investment H.E. Dr. Mahmoud Mohieldin and a host of other keynote speakers at this importance conference.
The two ministers will together outline the government of Egypt’s coordinated policy to increase the pace of housing market development and show how different ministries are working alongside each in coordinated policy initiatives.
“Despite the global real estate downturn, the Egyptian real estate market continues to grow at a great rate,” said Richard Banks, Director, Middle East, Euromoney Conferences. “Egypt is home to innovation and growth in retail finance, developer finance and retail outlet development. The demographic structure of Egypt puts this asset class on the horizons of both direct and portfolio investors and shows how important this market has become in Egypt.”
They will be joined by other government officials, financiers, experts and leading private sector developers including Al Mimar Group, Emaar Misr; Misr for Real Estate Management; Palm Hills; Rooya; SODIC; the Holding Company for Construction and the Holding Company for Hotels and Tourism.
“We expect this conference to be a benchmark in the development of these crucial sectors,” said Richard Banks, Director, Middle East, Euromoney Conferences. “Our unique platform and expert moderators will tie together the different parts of the industry and create a clear direction for the industry as a whole. We anticipate a series of initiatives to catalyse cooperation between the component parts of the industry and accelerate the pace of growth.”
Over 600 industry professionals will join policy-makers and regulators at the invitation-only conference organized by Euromoney and the Mortgage Finance Fund. A full agenda can be found at www.euromoneyconferences.com/egypthousing10.
