McDonald’s UAE received an appreciation award from the Emirates Environmental Group (EEG) for the support extended to environmental campaigns during the year 2007 in UAE. The award was presented during the EEG 9th annual gala dinner which took place in Dubai.
Commenting on the award, said Rafic Fakih, McDonald’s UAE managing director:” we have been with EEG since the start and our commitment to support any programs of a benefit to the country was in place since we started our operations back in 1994, we value the efforts put by EEG as a leading environmental group in the country and we are looking forward to be part of more programs in the future”.
McDonald’s UAE holds a long-standing partnership with EEG, through the active participation in different programs, to mention: clean-up UAE, clean-up the world campaigns and the can-collection drive. In addition, McDonald’s UAE is a founding member of the Corporate Social Responsibility Network established by EEG.
