Emirates Bank extended its support to the meDRIVE Angels Softball Team by sponsoring the team for the fourth consecutive year.

Coached by John Larson, the meDRIVE Angels softball team is comprised of ladies residing in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. The players originate from a number of countries to include: Canada, USA, South Africa, France, England, Scotland and Australia. Many of the players have played the game throughout their lives, whilst others have only taken up the sport since residing in the UAE. The team is well respected throughout the league as a fun, and hardworking team with a great attitude on and off the field.
With probably the strongest team they have assembled in years, the meDRIVE Angels have decided to form a team for the Spring 2006 Middle East Softball Championships. The championships will be held at the Metropolitan Hotel from the 25th – 28th April. Competing in the Championships will be 6 other female teams, including teams from Kuwait, Cairo, Doha and Abu Dhabi.
