According to Associated Press, at least eight people have died and 25 have been injured in separate bombing attacks throughout the area surroding the Iraqi capital city of Baghdad.
The deadliest of the attacks occurred in Mahmoudiya, roughly 20 miles south of Baghdad. A car bomb exploded at an outdoor market, killing four civilians and wounding eleven.
The second attack occurred in Madain, 14 miles southeast of Baghdad, killing two civilians and wounding five others.
A final bombing targeted soldiers, killing two and wounding five others, in Tarmiyah, 30 miles north of Baghdad.
These number have been confirmed by medical officials.
