He discussed with his guests current Islamic issues and efforts being made by Muslim scholars to serve Islam based on Islamic values and tolerance.
Sheikh Zayed urged the scholars to exert more efforts to propagate Islam through the religion's principles of compassion, love and tolerance.
He sent aclear message to the non-Muslim world that "Islam knows no terror," saying Islam is “totally innocent” of the terrorist acts of those people.
Sheikh Zayed, who condemned the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks on the US that claimed the lives of thousands of innocent people, said that "terrorism is abhorred by Islam and other monotheist religions. Terrorism is the enemy of mankind." – Albawaba.com
