Egyptian Trade Delegation to Visit Greece

A delegation of Egyptian businessmen is due to visit Athens in September to discuss with Greek counterparts the establishment of a EP10 million ($2.5 million) company that will be based in Cairo, according to the weekly Middle East Times.  

A major Greek trade delegation, headed by the chairman of Athens Chamber of Commerce, recently visited Egypt and met with a number of Egyptian businessmen.  

They discussed increasing trade and investment between the two countries.  

Bilateral trade rose from $180 million in 1997 to $200 million in 2000, said the weekly -- ALbawaba.com
