Egyptian police have prohibited a pro-democracy gathering, planned for this weekend, from taking place.
According to a police source on Monday, the scheduled meeting was banned due to strict regulations from the Egyptian Interior Ministry, which ban such public gatherings.
For their part, the event's organizers have already announced they would hold the meeting at another date and would go to court if it would be cancelled again. (Albawaba.com)
