For the first time since 1979, members of the Egyptian People's Assembly stood in silence to protest the US position on Israeli attacks on Palestinians, and Israel's excessive use of “all weapons to kill Palestinian women and children.”
The rare reaction was in response to an appeal signed by 20 MPs, said Al Gomhoriyya newspaper on Tuesday.
