An Egyptian young man divorced his fiancée to marry her mother who turned to be still married to another man, the Cairo-based daily Al Akhbar reported.

After her marriage contract was signed with an English teacher, 32, the young daughter, was shocked when her ex-fiancé got married to her 46-year old mother after few month of the divorce.

That was not the only stunning news to the daughter, and her fiancé-turned-step father.

The authorities discovered that the mother had still been a wife for a 48-year old man, and was indicted of bigamy.

Qalyubiyyah Security agents arrested the woman and her two husbands who both denied fatherhood of her fetus, a third unpleasant surprise.

Islam prohibits bigamy and polygamy for women, and men are permanently forbidden from marrying their mothers-in-law -- Albawaba.com
