Egyptian archaeologists unearth 18th Dynasty tomb

The Egyptian Archaelogical Mission announced on Tuesday that it has discovered a major tomb in Luxor dating back to the18th Dynasty and containing priceless artefacts.

Mostafa Waziry, the head of the mission, told reporters the tomb, which was unearthed in Zeraa Abu El-Nagaa area in west Luxor, most likely belonged to the city's magistrate Ou Sarhat.

The tomb contains tens of statues, coffins and mummies.
