ALBAWABA - Palestinian Journalist Saleh Aljafarawi posted on X (formerly Twitter) photos of the Rafah border crossing between Gaza and Egypt reportedly saying that Egypt has permanently closed it.
According to the journalist, Egyptian authorities placed a long cement wall on the Rafah border crossing between the two countries.
Saleh Aljafarawi shared two photos one showing the sign "Rafah border crossing" with workers on a huge equipment truck while placing the huge cement wall.
However, no official source confirmed or denied the information of pacing a huge wall on the border between Egypt and Gaza.
The claim came just minutes before the trilateral summit in Cairo on Monday that was attended by Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, French President Emmanuel Macron and Jordanian King Abdullah II.
The leaders are expected to discuss the developments in Gaza amid a lack of hope of reaching a ceasefire agreement between Hamas and Israel.
