Egypt is reopening its Rafah border crossing with Gaza today for two days, according to AFP.

The crossing was closed after a suicide bombing in the Sinai Peninsula killed 30 soldiers in October.

It is the fourth time the terminal is being reeopened since the attack.

The bombing in October resulted in a state of emergency and a curfew in certain parts of north Sinai where there has been continued violence with Islamist militants.

The Rafah crossing is the only point not controlled by Israel and is being opened to allow Palestinians on both sides to cross.
