Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak is to meet Sunday a delegation from the United States congress, headed by head of the security and intelligence committee Bob Graham, a source close to the republic's presidency announced Saturday.
The source told reporters that the delegation's visit to Cairo is in the framework of a tour that would take it to Lebanon, Syria and Israel. It said that President Mubarak would meet on Monday a delegation from the House of Representatives headed by Robert Waxler.
The source expected that the two sides’ talks would deal with the situation in the Middle East in wake of US President Bush’s peace plan, which was issued last Monday, according to KUNA. (Albawaba.com)
