Sinai weapons seized in Egypt

Egyptian forces on Tuesday seized and destroyed weapons, and arrested several wanted people in a military campaign in the villages of Zuwaraa and al-Thaheer in the Sinai peninsula.

Egyptian security sources told Ma’an that airstrikes carried out by Apache helicopters targeted weapons and explosives arsenals.

Egyptian forces also seized five grad missiles, an anti-aircraft canon, an RPG launcher and 20 shells as well as over 200 kilograms of TNT, according to the sources.
