The Egyptian ministries of health and communications have announced a joint Internet project to upgrade the level of health service in Egypt.
The Ministry of Communications, on its part, announced in a statement that it had invited specialized companies for bids regarding the construction, installation and operation of “the Egyptian Remote Treatment Network” and for training specialists to manage this network.
The first stage of the project includes the implementation of the network and the preparation of the necessary equipment, programs, and communication systems in addition to equipping a mobile unit to provide services for a number of provinces in the country.
