Egyptian and Kazakhstani officials met Wednesday to discuss preparations for their joint committee meeting, to be held in the Kazakh capital on June 21, reported the Egyptian Gazette.
Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Ahmed Al Darsh spoke with Kazakhstan's ambassador to Egypt about his government's plan to sign a number of cooperation agreements during the coming meeting. Protocols regulating air transportation, cooperation in veterinary medicine and mail services were on the agenda, said the paper.
The two sides are also reported to be studying a memo of understanding to increase cooperation in agriculture, health and law.
The memo would outline measures to prevent dual taxation and combat terrorism, a source told the paper – Albawaba.com
