The Egyptian government has extended a $10 million line of credit to Ugandan importers of Egyptian goods, reported the weekly Middle East Times.

According to Egypt's commercial counselor to Uganda, Mohsen Muhammad Naseem, the Egyptian credit will last for six months and will be managed by Cairo International Bank.

Naseem told the weekly that trade between the two countries had risen appreciably over the past few years, which prompted the country to extend the credit – Albawaba.com
