An explosion took place near a gas station in the Giza neighborhood of Faisal on Sunday, leaving behind casualties, Egypt’s state run television reported.
Assistant to the Interior Minister Major General Ahmed Hegazy told state newspaper Al-Ahram that the source of the blast is unknown.
Security officials, bomb squads and ambulances were on their way to the scene of the explosion.
