Egypt declares 3 days mourning over Libya, Morocco

ALBAWABA - The Egyptian Presidency announced on Tuesday that the country has announced three days of mourning in solidarity with the victims of the Moroccan earthquake and the Libyan hurricane.

Libya has been affected by Storm Daniel killing at least 3000 people and leaving thousands missing till this moment as floods fill the streets, Libyan Interim Prime Minister and leader of the Government of National Unity Abdul Hamid Dbeibeh said in a statement.

Furthermore, the Moroccan Interior Ministry announced that the death toll in the country after the powerful 6.8-magnitude earthquake that struck Morocco on Friday night has jumped to 2862.

Arab and Westerns leaders have offered help to victims in Libya and Morocco as rescue workers were sent to both countries with the aim to help find missing people. 

Food aid was also sent to both countries which are suffering from both the earthquake and the deadly Storm Daniel.
