Egypt has the most money invested in Jordan, ahead of the United States and Britain, which came in second and third, respectively, according to a report by Jordan Investment Board (JIB).
Other major investors include Taiwan and Hong Kong, said the report, cited by the weekly Middle East Times.
Foreign investment in Jordan accounted for 55 percent of total investment in the country in 2000, compared with 22 percent in 1999, it said – Albawaba.com
