EgyNet has struck a deal with an international company to establish the biggest cyber data center in Egypt, with an overall investment of $120 million, The Middle East reported.
The center will have a range of software programs for specialized applications, some of which cost as much as E£1 million and would be too expensive for individual companies and organizations to purchase for themselves, said the weekly.
The center will allow individuals and companies to use them against a monthly charge.
The new center – due to be launched on April 15th - is expected to serve some 24,000 institutions and banks and will have about 15 specialized programs that can be used in hospitals, banks and factories – Albawaba.com
