As part of its plan to expand across the region and become the exclusive reward program throughout the Middle East, e-Points, a member of the OFFTEC Investment Group PLC ASE: BDIN, launched its services in Ramallah as a first step towards its launch in the West Bank through its sister company OFFTEC Palestine.

e-Points Palestine has already attracted over 100 participating merchants from the leading dining, fashion, gift, service, family circle and foodstuff outlets in the West Bank, and expects to create a solid clientele base of 30,000 cardholders by the end of this year.

Jamil Daher, Regional Manager of OFFTEC Palestine said, “e-Points is the largest customer reward program in the Middle East and since Palestine is in close proximity to Jordan and there are frequent visits of both nationals to the countries, e-Points realized the added benefit it can give to its cardholders for utilizing the services across borders thus increasing the benefit to the participating merchants.”

He added, “e-Points supports participating merchants to maintain consumer loyalty and therefore achieve more sales and profits. It also aims at rewarding cardholders as they can earn points from purchases they make that can be redeemed for products and services within the e-Points network in various countries.”

The objective of the e-Points network is to provide businesses with a reward program that will bring them closer to consumers and could result in improved performance.  On the other hand, through the program, consumers will have the opportunity to collect points as they live their life and spend within the network. Cardholders can then exchange the accumulated points for goods and services from any of the participating merchants.

With the launch of e-Points services in Palestine, cardholders can earn points in one country and redeem them in the other, giving them a wider network of merchants to choose from.

e-Points, launched in 2005, is Jordan’s largest and most exclusive customer reward program that has created a clientele base of approximately 98,000 cardholders and an exclusive network of over 350 participating merchants with the leading retail, hospitality and service outlets in the Kingdom.
