Iran has halted search for the remains of its soldiers, missing since the war of 1980-1988, on the Iraqi
soil because of the prevailing situation in the region, the committee in charge of those missing in action said Sunday.
"Following an agreement between the Iranian and Iraqi committees for those missing in action, the search operations for pure bodies of (Iranian) martyrs at five locations on the Iraqi soil have stopped until further notice," the committee said, according to IRNA. (Albawaba.com)
