Dubai Trade Delegation to Leave for Morocco

A delegation from Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) led by Obaid Humaid Al Tayer, President of the Chamber, will leave today for Rabat, Morocco to discuss scopes of cooperation between the two countries in economic fields, including the shipping services, Khaleej Times reported.  

According to the paper, the recent years have seen a remarkable growth of trade volume between the UAE and Morocco via Dubai, increasing to Dh60 million from Dh20 million five years ago.  

Thani Juma Belregad, DCCI director of foreign Relations Department was quoted by the daily as saying that "boosting economic relations between the two countries is one of the essential factors enabling strong cooperation in all other domains.”  

For his part, the Moroccan ambassador said in a press release the progress in bilateral relations between the two countries would continue to be tantamount to the level of political relations.” – Albawaba.com
