Dubai Techno Park, the largest technological hub in the Middle East, has announced its strong participation at OGS 2005, the Arab Oil and Gas Show, to be held from November 7-9, 2005, at the Dubai International Exhibition Centre. Techno Park will have a 42- square meter pavilion at the exhibition.
Techno Park hosts a number of leading companies operating in the oil and gas sector, and a majority of them will be present at the Techno Park pavilion at OGS, where they will showcase their range of products and services. The companies that will be present at the Techno Park pavilion include Proclad Group International, CIMAC, Technolube Lubrication Systems, Quality International and Pacific Control Systems. CIMAC and Pacific Control Systems will also be participating in Arab Instrumentation and Automation 2005, the international exhibition for instrumentation, control and automation professionals, which will be introduced during OGS 2005. Both the events are supported by Techno Park.
“Being the premier trade event for the region’s oil and gas industry, OGS provides us an ideal forum to showcase the many benefits Techno Park offers tenant companies,” said Abdullah Ahmed Al Quraishi, Chief Executive Officer, Dubai Techno Park. “While the Park’s tenants come from across the economic spectrum, a significant number of them are leading players in the high-potential oil and gas sector. By participating together with these companies at OGS 2005, we are certain that more companies involved in the oil and gas sector will be inspired to set up facilities at Techno Park, thereby further boosting the Park’s tenant portfolio.”
Anselm Godinho, Managing Director, IC&E, the organizers of the exhibition, said, “Dubai Techno Park has established itself as a world-class industrial complex and a centre for hi-tech manufacturing for regional and international companies. Through its strong participation at OGS, Techno Park will be able to leverage the show’s excellent networking platform to effectively highlight the host of facilities and incentives it offers oil and gas companies establishing operations within the facility.”
Being developed as a business and industrial hub, Dubai Techno Park is the first technology park of its kind in the Middle East. The Park's new economic zone provides attractive incentives, world-class infrastructure and single-window clearance. Dubai Techno Park brings with it the backing of the Government of Dubai as well as many private and semi-private organizations.
Proclad Group International, one of the tenant companies exhibiting alongside Techno Park, is a leading company operating in the oil and gas and petrochemical industry providing products and services to a host of blue-chip clients, including Saudi Aramco, BP, Shell and McDermott. CIMAC, another participant, is a worldwide non-profit association that brings together manufacturers of diesel engines and gas turbines, users such as ship owners and rail operators, as well as suppliers, oil companies, classification societies and scientists.
