Jacky's Electronics, the leading electronics and entertainment store in the UAE, today named 13 aspiring singers as winners of the Video Gaga competition, hosted as part of its 40th anniversary celebrations.
The emirate-wide competition required participants to shoot and upload their video, singing a song of their choice, on Jacky's Facebook page - http://www.facebook.com/jackysuae.
The two-hour grand finale held at the Mirdif City Centre, inside the retail store of Jacky's Electronics, saw City 101.6 RJs Lokesh and Malvika judging ten shortlisted finalists on their live performance.
Resident of Dubai, Loudyryan, was unanimously declared the judges' and spectators' choice for first place and awarded the grand prize of an XperiaTM X10 Android Smartphone.
Philippe El Nakour, Channel Marketing Manager, Sony Ericsson, and Jacky Panjabi, Managing Director, Jacky's, gave away the prizes that included home theatre systems and Sony mp3 players for the runners-up.
