Dubai Quality Group (DQG), a non-profit organization dedicated to raising the general performance level of the local business environment, has announced that it has recently awarded Emirates Trading Agency Mechanical Engineering (ETA M&E) with investor partner status, in a move that will help ETA M&E increase its networking resources and workplace performance.
DQG grants investor partner status to organizations that are willing to align themselves with the drive for quality and aim for a culture of excellence in the business environment. The advantages of securing investor status include greater voting rights in the DQG; an increased number of users with access to resources and greater affiliation with DQG-organised events.

ETA M&E joins the prominent group as the first mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) contracting company in the UAE to receive ISO 9001-1994 for Quality Management System by Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance Ltd, UK. From a lean staff of five when it opened in 1976, ETA M&E has grown to become one of the leading electromechanical contractors in the UAE with a current workforce of over 12,400 and an annual turnover of AED 1.8 billion.
The company now has branches in India, Kuwait and Qatar, providing critical electromechanical services to numerous prominent projects, including Emaar Properties' Burj Dubai, the world's tallest tower located at the heart of Dubai's business district.
