Students of applied media at the Dubai Men's College will go through an interesting experience as they will display their works to audience attending a Ramadan National Day and Media Exhibition at its Abu Hail premises, reported Khaleej Times on Thursday.
According to the Dubai-based paper, the projects have been completed by students of all three years of the program, and include photography, media production, graphic design, journalism and multi-media.
Third year students are displaying community client projects that they had been involved in, as each student had to sell a proposal to a client and get interned with the client as part of his course.
Members of the public and other students have been invited to view the projects, which include half-hour news and public affairs program called Majalla produced by second year students. The program, which resembles a television news broadcast in its style consists of a series of video news features. It has been produced and edited by students.
A special viewing area has been set up at the exhibition so that visitors can view the most recent production of Majalla, which includes stories ranging from sports to technology – Albawaba.com
