Dubai Duty Free Chooses NCR to Boost Sales Performance
NCR RealPOS™ Brings Innovation, Flexibility to
World’s 3rd Largest Airport Duty Free Retailer;
UAE’s Emirates Computers will Supply, Service POS Solution
Dubai, UAE – Dubai Duty Free, located at Dubai International Airport and the world’s third largest airport duty free shop by annual turnover, has selected a point-of-sale (POS) solution from NCR Corporation (NYSE: NCR) that is expected to bring increased innovation and flexibility to the award-winning retailer.
Emirates Computers, an NCR RealPartner in the region, is responsible for the implementation and ongoing support of the solution.

The comprehensive POS solution from NCR includes 180 NCR RealPOS workstations paired with the NCR RealPOS DynaKey™ operator interface, as well as thermal receipt printers and bar-code scanners from NCR.

Emirates Computers is providing staging, integration, installation, training, and ongoing maintenance and support. Future plans call for the installation of an additional 200 complete NCR RealPOS units for Dubai Duty Free’s retail operation in Concourse 2 and Terminal 3, which is the next stage of development at Dubai International Airport.
