Dubai Customs selects 10 employees to perform Omrah during Ramadan

Dubai Customs has selected a number of customs staff to perform minor hajj (Omrah) during the holy month of Ramadan in a humanitarian high-minded move that aiming to enhance their feeling of affiliation with the Organization.

As part of its numerous activities during Ramadan this year, Dubai Customs decided to choose by lot 10 employees to spent 3 nights in Mecca to perform Omrah.

The lot covered all Dubai Customs male and female muslin staff at different customs departments and centers.

Taher Abdullah, Abdul Hameed Hussain, Salim Al Bakr, Hamdan Al Alawi, Ahmed Hatimi, Leena Ali, Hisham Abdul Nabi, Hussain Makki and Hamad Al Masharakh are the winners of Omrah trip.

Mr. Abdul Rahman Al Saleh, Executive Director of the Financial and Administrative Affairs and Ms. Feryal Tawakul, Executive Director of Human Resources honored the winners of Omrah trip.

Revealing their happiness of such honoring, the winning employees expressed their gratitude to Dubai Customs for such initiative, which regarded by Al Salah as part of the organizational consistent  concern with its staff and a step forward that may underline Customs social responsibility towards the society”.


Dubai Customs shall fully bear the whole trip expenses. Air tickets, transportation to and from airports, Iftar and Sahoor shall be provided including 3 nights accommodation at hotel next to the holly Ka`aba as well as other arrangements that make the trip convenient and successful.

As a further honoring by Dubai Customs to its married staff, Taher Abdullah and Leena Abdulla being married staff were given out extra air tickets to their spouses.
