Dubai Customs seize large quantities of prohibited drugs and expired food products

Dubai Customs has announced that a large quantity of prohibited drugs and food products that had passed their expiry date have been seized from a store in Dubai following a recent raid by customs officials. This is the biggest confiscation in the recent years in terms of quantity of goods seized, and falls in line with the commitment of Dubai Customs to thwart such illegal practices that adversely affect the people of the UAE and consumers in particular.

Dubai Customs has embarked on innovative strategies to prevent the trade in counterfeit goods, especially medicines and medical equipments. The highly experienced team of customs inspectors of the department have successfully conducted several raids and seized large quantities of counterfeit products in the recent years.

Dubai Customs also announced that the details of this confiscation will be revealed during a press conference that will be held in the coming days.
