General Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Crown Prince and UAE Defense Minister, opened Wednesday the Middle East International furniture and interior design exhibition, Index' 2001 at the Dubai World Trade Center, reported the Emirati official news agency (WAM).
Sheikh Mohammed told reporters after the opening ceremony that participation of world brand names and global investors in the three-day event underlined that the UAE enjoys increasing confidence among global business community.
Stability, security, peace and strategic geographical location are just few of attractions our country is blessed with under the wise leadership of President Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, he said.
The minister has ordered that all business and social activities in the emirate should proceed according to schedule despite the upheaval in world politics, saying that the UAE is not in a state of war and life should go as normal – Albawaba.com
