DUBAI 92, part of the Arabian Radio Network (ARN), today announced it gave away AED 20,000 worth of diamonds to listeners, to mark Valentine’s Day, during The Catboy & Geordiebird Breakfast Show.
Listeners of the show were asked to text in the message ’I love you’ to win the one-off Valentine’s Day prize. Within a matter of minutes, the station was inundated with over 1,000 SMS messages. The winner, Kelly Legge, who spent all her credit texting Catboy & Geordiebird, was informed of her spectacular win on the morning of Valentine’s Day.
Kelly’s response echoed her joy over winning the prize. She said: “I’ll buy a ring, maybe a bracelet, actually both!”
