Demonstrating its commitment to social issues that forms an important component of its corporate social responsibility efforts, du employees recently took part in Water Bucket Walk initiative, an initiative of Dubai Cares. It involved a three Kilometres-long walk along the Jumeirah Beach road in Dubai. Held to mark the 20th anniversary of the United Nations Universal Children’s Day, the walk aimed to draw attention and show solidarity with the plight of children in the developing world who are forced to walk more than six kilometres every day to collect water.
