In recognition of the high calibre of human capital that makes up du’s top-tier management, du’s senior director of broadcast services, Mohamed Saeed Al Shahi, has been ranked number 18 in Digital Production Middle East’s Digital Broadcast power list.
The inaugural power list, which features broadcast technology innovators, content creators, advertising chiefs and internet providers, are put together based on the opinions of Digital Production Middle East’s editorial team and is a definitive list of industry powerbrokers.
Congratulating him on the achievement, Fahad Al Hassawi, chief human resources and corporate services officer, du, said: “Mohamed has many strengths and has played a pivotal role in strengthening our broadcast services division. Al Shahi leads the efforts for managing all broadcasting activities relating to the development of the strategy and growth of broadcast business within du. Under his leadership, du broadcast services teleport was recently named one of the world’s highest grossing independent teleports by the World Teleport Association (WTA), based on revenues achieved in 2009. Al Shahi has also successfully added ADMC elite channels and Al Jazeera to du’s broadcast services high-profile clientele.
