The 15.4 inch wide screen notebook comes with an AMD Turion 64 processor or a Mobile AMD Sempron and is bluetooth enabled.
The Presto X55 has a 4-in-1 card reader and boasts of an Integrated Mirage 2 Graphics Engine with a built-in high performance 256-bit 3D Engine that supports digital video interface for TV or LCD display. The SiS integrated Ultra256 video processor in the Presto X55 also ensures high quality graphics performance.
The Presto X55 weighs only three kilos and has several system and power status indicators to indicate various modes and actions. Pressing the silent mode button on the notebook enables the system to lower its power usage by reducing the fan speed, resulting in near-silent operation.
With up to 2GB of 333/400MHz DDR SDRAM, the memory capacity in the Presto X55 is more than adequate. The notebook comes in DIMM sizes in the range of 256 MB to 1GB and has a hard drive capacity of up to 100 GB for maximum storage. The Presto X55 is also fitted with a DVD/CD-RW Combo or DVD-Dual Drive.

Other important features of the Presto X55 include, Hyper-Streaming Technology – which makes streams of data flow all over the paths efficiently, concurrently and smoothly; HyperTransport technology - a high-speed, low latency, point-to-point link designed to increase the communication speed between integrated circuits in computers, servers, embedded systems, and networking and telecommunications equipment, and AMD PowerNow technology - an innovative solution available on all AMD mobile processor-based notebooks that can effectively increase notebook battery life, while delivering performance on demand.
In addition, the Presto X55 comes with the Smart Power II and Ultra AGP II technology, which will further enhance performance of the notebook. The Ultra-AGPII technology is a high-level graphic mechanism specially developed by SiS for integration chipsets to provide faster communication and greater transmission bandwidth between the built-in graphic engine and memory controller.
