“The Health and Safety Initiative Award is yet another incentive that will encourage both the management and workforce to strive even harder in the pursuit of H&S excellence throughout the company,” he added.

Facilities Management Middle East Awards aims at raising the profile of the industry and recognizing the leading companies for their prominent contributions to the development of the industry.

Fifteen awards were presented covering various domains of service, including functional fit-out services, landscape contracting, customer services and facilities management. The winners were judged by a high-profile panel of industry experts, selected from within the Middle East facilities management industry.

The panel of judges was particularly impressed by Drydocks World- Dubai’s entry, especially by the measures the company has taken to ensure that heath and safety of employees as well as that of properties are of paramount importance.
