Under the chairmanship of Sheikh Ahmed Bin Saeed Al Maktoum, the Board of Directors of Dubai Aerospace Enterprises in its last meeting appointed Dr. Mohammed Ahmed Al Zarooni as the Chairman of the Executive Committee. The Committee also includes Mr. Khalifa Al Daboos, Managing Director and Mr. George Mushahwar Acting Chief Executive Officer as members.
The Executive Committee has been assigned to manage and oversee the entire business and implement strategies and business plans. The committee will also directly supervise the operations within the organisation with an objective to improve organizational and financial results. In the meantime the committee conducted its first meeting to review and agree on the overall strategy of the enterprise for the coming period.
Dr. Al Zarooni, Chairman of the Executive Committee stated that, "Dubai Aerospace Enterprises is a huge economic project that will play a major role in the Aerospace industry worldwide in the very near future. The operations of DAE cover leasing aircraft and providing essential services for the aerospace industry. Dr. Al Zarooni added that DAE has activities in the United States and Europe in addition to the UAE".
