ALBAWABA- Violent clashes erupted in Yemen's Al-Hadd border region, between forces of the Transitional Council and Southern Resistance and Houthi militias. The confrontations claimed numerous lives and left many injured.
According to military sources, 19 individuals from the Transitional Council and Southern Resistance were lost in the dawn clashes with Houthi militias, with eight casualties and eleven wounded.
Transitional Council-affiliated sources stated that 15 Houthis were killed in retaliatory confrontations, triggered by their attacks on positions held by resistance and council forces in Al-Hadd, near the Al-Bayda province under Houthi control.
The military spokesperson for the Transitional Council affirmed that the "southern forces repelled a three-hour Houthi attack on the Yaf' front, causing substantial losses."
The Al-Hadd front has regained prominence in the past three years, with intensified tension and clashes between Transitional Council and Southern Resistance forces, and Houthi militias in Al-Bayda province.
