ALBAWABA - According to Al Jazeera, a rocket fired from Lebanon struck the Golan Heights, killing ten people and wounding several more.
Ten Israeli adolescents were murdered in the incident that struck Majdal Shams in the Golan Heights, and thirty others were injured, seven of them are critically ill, according to Israeli Channel 12.
Israel's emergency services have characterized the situation as severe. Yedioth Ahronoth brought attention to how serious the incident was by showing how quickly police and emergency services arrived at the scene. The scope of the emergency reaction is shown in photos sent on Telegram by Israeli news organizations.
Walla claims that while officials react to the situation, helicopters and planes are flying over northern Israel. Golan Heights residents have been told to stay in designated locations.
According to an Al Jazeera report citing Israeli military radio, 11 individuals were hospitalized after the incident, five of them were in critical condition. In light of the event, Defense Minister Yoav Gallant is working with military authorities, and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is allegedly having security discussions from Washington.
Hezbollah has responded to the event with a statement in which it vehemently denies any involvement. The organization denied any involvement in the attack on Majdal Shams, an allegation made by the enemy media, and said the resistance was not to blame for the tragedy.
