Police are investigating a possible domestic violence incident that left three people dead in a Dover home on Thursday night.
According to the Norfolk District Attorney’s Office, Dover police received a 911 call around 7:30 p.m. from a family member who had gone to the house on Wilson’s Way to check on the family.
When the police arrived, they found an adult male, an adult female and their teenage daughter dead inside the home.
The district attorney’s office said the investigation is still in its early stages, but it appears to be “a deadly incident of domestic violence.” They said there is no ongoing danger to the community.
The names and ages of the victims have not been released yet, pending notification of relatives. The district attorney’s office said they would provide more details later on Friday.
Dover and state police are working together to determine the cause and manner of death of the three family members. The district attorney’s office said they would offer counseling and support services to anyone affected by the incident.
